Single Stop: career coaching you talk to

A career assessment with no forms. You talk; the coach listens, advises, and quietly builds your profile as you go. Shown at Google's Demo Day in San Francisco.

The problem

Workers without degrees rarely finish forms-based career assessments, so the guidance never reaches the people who need it most. The fix: replace the form with a conversation good enough that finishing it feels natural.

What we built

The entire platform around the AI: a low-latency voice pipeline over WebRTC, the API layer, and the bridge that turns conversation state into dashboards a member can act on. We iterated through speech-to-speech architectures (Hume EVI, Pipecat orchestration) and shipped a decomposed production design with tool use handled by our own orchestrator.

What it left behind

ConversationKit: our reusable voice-conversation library (push-to-talk, hands-free, captions, session management) built to move to the next product. And it did: this work became the foundation SkillUp is now building its platform on.
